What we collect

The only information we collect is what you type into the contact form and choose to send us. That is your name, phone number, email address, project location, project type, timeframe, your description of the work, and any photographs you attach.

We do not collect anything else. This website sets no cookies, uses no advertising trackers, and does not build a profile of you.

Why we collect it

To respond to your inquiry, understand the site and the work you need, prepare a scope and a price, and stay in contact about the project. We do not use it for anything else.

We do not sell your information, rent it, trade it, or share it with anyone for marketing.

Who handles it besides us

Running a website means a few service providers necessarily touch this information:

Netlify hosts this website and receives and stores contact form submissions, including uploaded photographs. Zoho Mail delivers and stores the email notification that reaches us. Cloudflare provides DNS for our domain. Google Fonts serves the typefaces used on this site, which means your browser requests those font files from Google and Google can see your IP address when it does.

Each of these companies has its own privacy policy governing what it does with that data.

Photographs you send us

Photographs you attach to the contact form are used to understand your site and scope the work.

We will not publish a photograph of your property, or any photograph we take during your project, anywhere public without asking you first.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries and project records for as long as we are working with you, and afterward for our business records, warranty questions, and any legal or tax obligations that apply.

If you would rather we did not keep yours, tell us and we will delete it.

Asking us to delete your information

Email hoytt@terrafirmdg.com or call 910.876.7191 and ask. We will remove what we hold, apart from anything we are required to keep for legal or tax reasons, and we will tell you if that applies.

You can also ask us what we hold about you, and we will tell you.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date below. If we ever add website analytics, this page will say so before it happens.
